Rest and Relaxation is an IGM for Seth Able Robinsons'
popular door game LORD (Legend of the Red Dragon).
Forewarned is forearmed... Rest and Relaxation involves
a trip to Violets house of ill repute and/or Turgeons pleasure
palace for the ladies. But... it is a little milder than LORD
itself, so those who comfortably play LORD should not be
offended.
IF however, you run Lord in "Clean Mode", then this IGM
will refuse to operate, giving users only a message that their
Sysop has disabled this other place.
Additionally, if you wish to replace the real game with
a mini version for your younger users, then that is possible.
Install will have created a text file in your Lord directory
named RNR.KID with my name in it as a sample.
Just add your young users REAL NAME on a line by itself, and
that user should get the benign version. Addidtionally, if one
of these lines is the word ALL then all of your users will get
the child version.
The sysop status line will show whether they are playing
as adult or child.
*** CAUTION!!! ***
This can still backfire on you! If a new user were to call,
use your callback verifier, and then go to play Lord, then even
though they may be a child, their name would not yet have been
put in RNR.KID, and they would be playing the adult version.
I must also mention that the names of the "residents"
of these establishments are purely fictitional.
Let's get the legalities out of the way first. I'm not a
professional, but I have done my very best to make this program
as foolproof and failproof as possible. I sincerely believe it
works very well. However - I can not be, will not be, and am not
responsible for any harm or damage of any kind that may befall you
or your equipment, no matter how it may be caused. By continuing
past this point, you agree to be bound by this.
This version is shareware. You are entitled to try it out
for a period not exceeding 30 days. If you find it useful, and
wish to continue using it, then you are obligated to register
your copy. Registration will bring you a message with the registration
codes. Print the order.frm for more information.
You are also welcome (encouraged) to distribute copies of
the unregistered version, provided that all files are included, intact,
and unmodified and that you do NOT distribute the key file. Commercial
shareware vendors may distribute the shareware version provided
that they do not charge more than $6.00; that they make it obviously
apparent on both the packaging and internally that their customer has
not purchased any rights to RNR, and that they are still
obligated to register their copy.
Shareware CDROM producers may include the archive under the
same conditions as oulined above, with the exception being that
the price of their product may exceed $6.00
Meanwhile, I would very much appreciate any feedback,
suggestions, or bug reports.

THE COMMAND LINE:
If RNR is started without any parameters, then you will
see only a message telling you that you can't do this! :)
The only positive effect is that you will see the version number,
and some instruction.
If started with a command tail of install then RNR will
install itself into Lord. You must first copy RNR.EXE into your
LORD directory.
If started with a command tail of uninstall then RNR will
remove itself from Lord, then offer to erase it's files.
If started with a command tail of register then RNR will
ask for the information you will have recieved in your register
message, and then register itself.
Thanks to the following for their patience and help:

Tim Weakley, sysop of Umbilicus Mundi BBS
